I was visiting for the weekend and walked in off the street. They happily squeezed me in without an appointment and took my dry, damaged hair and got it looking healthy again with plenty of layers to lighten the weight. My hairdresser was very attentive and kind, and took the time to explain what products he used at the end to help me style at home. If I lived in Melbourne I’d make this my regular hair dresser!

Visited D&Y Hair based on good reviews. Busy place, so book ahead! Had a post-work styling session – comfy head massage, blow-dry, and Michelle, my stylist, was patient and skilled. Michelle gave me a gorgeous and wavy look. Skilled and attentive. Saw a cool stylist doing a chic bob – impressive versatility. D&Y Hair is a top choice for skilled stylists and quality service.

Had a good first-time experience at this salon! Met Reno and explained my preferences; he not only understood but also provided valuable suggestions. His expertise in explaining what works best for my hair was impressive. Booking an appointment was a breeze, and the hairstylists delivered excellent service, giving me the perfect cut I desired. Overall, a goof salon with skilled professionals.

I've been dying my hair + har cut at this salon for the last year or so and I absolutely love the work they do. Both Geoff and Darren are really skilled and I walk out looking pretty and happy every time. I've tried so many different hair salon in Melbourne and I'm convinced they are the one for me. They are professional, skilled and they listen. Absolutely recommend their service.

Been getting my haircut done by Jeff for many years now, and with each monthly visit, Jeff meticously cuts my hair like a master sculptor. He is highly skilled and a great communicator. The assistant/reception staff at D&Y is amazing. Would star more than 5 if I could!

D&Y Hair Salon has been my go-to place for haircuts for the better part of the last 6 years. Have had cuts from Darren, Yudai, Greg and a host of other junior stylists and have come out always very happy and impressed. The love and attention they provide for creating the perfect haircut for clients is unmatched. And always always always enjoy my chats with the stylists. D&Y will continue to be my personal stylists for years to come.

I have had Darren for my haircut and colour for more than 8 years. My husband also has had his hair cut by Darren for almost 5 years. We can’t compliment Darren more for his excellent skills and professionalism. He understands customers’ needs and always does a fabulous job, ensuring customers walking out of the salon with satisfaction. I would highly recommend D&Y if you are looking for a good hair salon in CBD that can meet your needs!
